Staff are employed by Amity Virtual, our registered Philippine-based employer (Amity Resources is the Australian-based parent business). We hold accountability for legislative and administrative requirements in accordance with Philippines labour laws.

We can provide a virtual team member on a part-time, ongoing basis. This is a common scenario, and we allocate hours accordingly.

It can be more affordable, particularly in remote regions. We are committed to paying fairly, and we meet all our obligations – both legislative and ethical – when remunerating our staff.

We recruit staff and allocate work based on the needs of your role, so their level of experience will vary depending on what you require.

We can increase hours if your needs change. Whether the increased hours are able to be allocated to your existing team members will depend on their capacity.

Absolutely – while they’re employed by us, they are embedded in your team. During their work hours, they’re available for email, Teams calls and contact via your usual methods.

Amity’s standard work hours Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm, any requirements for weekend coverage will be discussed and defined as part of the contract. The Philippines is within the +8 GMT time zone, aligning directly to Western Australia. Depending on your location, there is a maximum time difference of 2 hours or 3 hours.

This will depend on the role requirements. If you have specific requirements that our team aren’t familiar with, they are happy to receive training, just like Australian workers.
