Our Process

Trying a new style of resourcing can be daunting. We’ve explained the process below, so you can know exactly what to expect. Whether you’re looking to hire on-shore or off-shore, our process starts the same.

First, we meet

We’ll get an understanding of your requirements, company culture and your processes. Taking the time to get to know you and your business is important in finding the right fit.

Search and Screen

Our team advertise the role in the Philippines. We phone screen and assess for personality fit, time management skills, communication, motivation and problem solving abilities – just like you would. The shortlisted candidates then move to an interview with our local Team Lead and Operations Manager.

We scope the role

We’ll co-design the job description with you – that might mean creating a tailored role that works for your business needs. Costs will be discussed at this stage, so there’s no surprises. We’re focused on finding the best talent for you, so we will always pay fairly for the right skills, experience and cultural fit.

You’ll be provided with a candidate shortlist. We’ll set up a meet and greet between you and your preferred candidate.

We’ll work behind
the scenes

You can focus on your business while we handle the paperwork. We conduct medical checks and a Veremark background check, for complete peace of mind, before we issue the employment contract. All equipment is managed by Amity Resources – we’ll dispatch from our IT warehouse so your new team member has everything they need.

Welcome to the team

On Day One, we’ll complete our own comprehensive onboarding process. Then, your new outsourced team member is ready to go. We’ll arrange a Teams call to complete the handover process.

Onshore
Skilled Workers

  • With the role confirmed, we’ll start the search. We interview candidates thoroughly, assessing and validating their technical skills and qualifications, as well as personality profiling, to make sure they’ll fit right in with your Australian team.

  • A comprehensive shortlist will be delivered to you. Once you’ve selected your preferred candidate, we’ll co-ordinate an interview, which you’ll also be able to attend.

  • With the candidate selected, we’ll issue your Client Contract. The candidate will also Receive their employment contract to sign.

  • Hiring offshore requires a little more paperwork and behind-the-scenes efforts than a virtual worker. Our Philippines recruitment team will hand over to our internal migration officer here in Australia. Once the paperwork is rubber-stamped, we coordinate all travel arrangements and initial accommodation. We also organise local support for our newest employee, to help them adjust to their new home and lifestyle.

  • Once they’re on Australian soil, they’ll start work with you. We organise ongoing check-ins to make sure everything’s running smoothly.

    Offshore or on-site, we’re always here to help.

    There’s definitely no ‘set and forget’ here. We schedule one, three and six month check-ins in advance to discuss our employee’s performance, and to make sure everything is working for everyone. And of course, we’re always available outside those milestones to support you and your new team member.

FAQs

  • Amity Resources is the employer, and we’re accountable for legislative and administrative requirements in accordance with Philippines labour laws. Our employees are embedded within your business as part of your team. You are responsible for role specific training and providing a safe and respectful workplace.

  • This depends on your needs. Amity employees' standard hours are Monday to Friday, between 7am and 4pm. If you require weekend or after hours coverage, this can be discussed.

  • The Philippines is within the +8 GMT time zone, which aligns with Western Australia. Depending on the client’s location, there is a maximum time difference of 2 hours or 3 hours.

  • We provide all IT equipment, including a laptop, additional screen, keyboard, mouse and headset.

  • We use the Microsoft Office365 suite. Most clients choose to create a profile within their business, so the Amity employee has direct access to custom email and SharePoint. If you prefer not to do this, we can also create a dedicated Client Portal for live document sharing.

  • Yes, we encourage clients to embed our team member directly into their business and systems.

  • We provide Microsoft Office 365 only as a standard. If you need specific programs, such as AutoCAD, Canva or other platforms, we can purchase the software license, which will be invoiced to you.

  • Getting the right fit is important for everyone. All employees are subject to a 6-month probation period. You’ll be invited to provide regular, structured feedback through this period.
